My Kane

Ode to my beast Kane, wilderness monster, Roaming day and night, to rid the land’s plight.

Fearful at first glance, knife’s hideous shine, Tenderising my flesh, destined to be mine. Ode to the slayer, despatching intrudes, Masking demon’s love, wielding from above. Forced me to observe, predator unbound, Masked killer feeding; screams the only sound.

Ode to my hunter, setting spiteful traps;

Tender my lover, dominant other,

Chains for love and kills, lavishing his thrills, At first tearfully, until surrendering snaps.

Ode to my beast Kane, wilderness monster, Intruders taken; I fell for your traps.
