Nymph

She sparkles in the forest, Nymph, She shines the ocean’s deep sapphire, She pulls towards her, draining lymph.

Fluttering from branch, sap to drink, Luring men into her wild mire, Feeding on lymph, that little Nymph.

River boats she calls and then sinks, And burns lost cottages with fire,

Mischievously malicious Nymph.

Drains heart and soul, romantic links, Destroys lovers aiming higher,

Stealing the men for their sweet lymph.

Seducing their bodies, the minx, Singing to sweet tune on her lyre, Slurping the lifeforce, greedy Nymph.

Until her heart stings from the Lynx,

Crafty stud, playing the game dire, Seducing the imp, crafty Nymph, Drying her blood and eery lymph.
