Cruel Kindness

Callously slung to the streets in wicked frosts, Redundant; unable to pay her dues.

Under the shelter of blustering torrential rain, Edging to the city limits; staring from Metropolis’s bridge.

Lost tears flow as she considers the dive.

Kindness grasps her sullen shoulders, Immediately leading her to his ebony hearse.

Nonchalantly she climbs in, the driver pulls away.

Dense woods, isolated, gothic, turreted mansion, Never carried with such an ardent passion to the dungeon.

Every kiss lashed with wanton leather tenderness,

Substitute for self-imposed isolation,

She surrenders to him wholly, accepting each caress.
