New Seed

He developed a new seaweed,

To eat plastics in dirty sea,

Preparation for the sea seed, Congratulated so widely.

Formation in a petri dish,

Evolution in a glass jar, Fulfilling a strong global wish, Progression hailed from afar.

He developed a new seaweed,

Metabolising too quickly, Abominable to proceed, Anticipatory growth spree.

Spreading rapidly beyond the sea,

Absorbing plant, beasts and then man, Sticking, weed stinging actively, Swallowing all the life, it can.

Clearing pollution, and all life,

Evolution onto the land,

Escalating another strife,

Seed grows too quickly out of hand.

Until the Earth once more is green, Time begins again, evolves keen.
